In 2020, the entire world went into lockdown due to the Covid pandemic. Freelance creatives, facing an abrupt loss of work and financial security found themselves in a precarious position. In response, a group of like-minded freelancers, driven by the mutual desire to assist one another, came together to establish a WhatsApp group for freelancers. From these origins Freelance People was born.
